Goal:

The main objective in this project was to recover a room. Originally it was a dark dining room that was lost from the usual circuit of the house. It ended up being used as a space to "store random things" and not as a dining room.

Methodology

As the dining room was next to the kitchen, the wall between them was demolished and thats how "WITHOUT BARRIERS" arose.

In the absence of this wall, the kitchen was absolutely exposed. It was necessary to make a design that allowed to have the kitchen permanently visible, in a house where there are boys, friends, big family, guests; and therefore, full time cooking !!

Special floor-to-ceiling furniture were designed to hide all the necessary appliances, as well as logical storage spaces in any kitchen.

The details were well taken care of. For example, a special wash basin with a greater depth than the average was built, in order to hide the dishes for washing during the day and so that they are not visible. The lighting was handled with an airship led luminaire, recessed in the ceiling so that it did not take visual space, etc.

The greatest satisfaction is the life that took on the new space! An area of the house that was lifeless began to gain LIFE ...
