Methodology

Work was done on a decoration that merged the owner's PASSIONS as the design thread. Travel and music are some themes that are referenced through different elements. The working style and the routine of the homeowner itself were also taken into account, to choose the best arrangement of the elements and build a much more efficient and functional work environment, apart from having renewed its aesthetics. The architecture of this house corresponds to the typical housing of the BHU, built at the beginning of the 90s. It shows very distinctive characteristics of that time, such as cold tiles on the floors, almost total absence of architectural ornaments and with the most strictly necessary to inhabit Something that helped us a lot was that, being the last floor of the apartment tower, the layout of the floor itself and the high gable roofs, made the work easier. It began with a task, which I consider "almost essential", which was the change of floor. Vinyl floors were placed in shades of gray, suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. This allowed us to use the same type of floor throughout the house thus generating a spacious and consistent environment.
